kiva is a special purpose ceremonial buildings used by ancient Puebloan people in the American southwest, still in use among contemporary puebloan people, where communities reunite to perform rituals and ceremonies. In modern pueblos, the number of kivas varies for each village. Kiva ceremonies are mainly performed by men, however women and visitors can attend the performance. Among Eastern Pueblo groups kivas are usually round in shape, but among Western Puebloan groups (such as Hopi and Zuni) they are usually square.
what i loved about the KIVA discussion was that your feedback was not recognized if you didn't sit in the inner circle.  the conversations were to the point.  for instance:  how many times do the average person text per day.  most answered over two thousand.  i never text so that was a lot.  i still don't own a cell phone.  but i'm different.  another conversation was, Do people take social media to serious?  Are they gullable to strangers that show them attention? compassion and love on the internet?
internet dating was a topic that got feedback from most of the inner circle and more joined to voice their opinion.
all and all i hope to do a KIVA discussion again.

now this video i love because even though we didn't get a good grade we came together on most obstacles and bonded as one.  we lost our way a little but we go the idea that we must work together with a clear understanding.  i enjoyed them all.  forever will you all be in my history book.  Vol. 4 lol.  the participation of students that didn't know us was phenomenal.  they just jumped right in.  Mrs. Renee thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn what convergence, journalism, being a journalist, how to write a story, what kind of stories are important to write, timing and a clear picture of the big picture in the story.  THE INTROVERTED PYRAMID  HORNABLE MENTION MR. STEVE BAI for advise on what the public needs to see in order for the story to be an attention getter.

i recently experience my first KIVA Discussion at Florissant Valley Community College last Thursday.  It was a discussion about multimedia, multitasking, internet, texting and cell phones.
Q:  How many text do you send per day?
A:  over 2000-4000 per day on a average
Q:  Do you multitask?
A:  The average student we talked to including myself multitask.
Q:  By multitasking do you get 100% effort compared to doing one task at a time?
A:  Doing one task will get better result and a A for your effort compared to doing three things and getting a B for the task.
